Medical records, this has been a recurring topic for both candidates during the lead up to this years election. Hillary Clinton’s incident on Sunday at a 9/11 ceremony in New York pushed it to the front of the public consciousness once again. She appeared to collapse and stumble, and had to leave the ceremony early to recover at her daughter's apartment in Manhattan.
The incident has fuelled further speculation on her well being, as well as brought the health of the candidates out as an issue to be addressed. Now it has been released by her campaign that Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, which lead to her Sunday problems. Since the incident Clinton has addressed it in the following tweets:
Thanks to everyone who’s reached out with well wishes! I’m feeling fine and getting better,
Like anyone who’s ever been home sick from work, I’m just anxious to get back out there. See you on the trail soon.

Trump's take on Hillary's pneumonia
Trump has long been questioning the ability of Clinton to physically handle the job of president. With Hillary being diagnosed with pneumonia, it has provided him an opportunity to double down on his questions about her health. Initially his statement erred on the side of caution, and did not make any specific accusations of her. On the morning of Monday, September 12 Trump appeared on the Fox News show Fox & Friends and spoke on Hillary’s incident stating:
I hope she gets well soon. I don't know what's going on. I'm like you. I just see what I see -- the coughing fit was a week ago, so I assume that was pneumonia also,
So something is going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we'll be seeing her at the debate.

Later on Monday during an MSNBC interview Trump again commented on the incident. This time he was more pointed, and in line with his previous concerns on her health saying:
It was interesting because they say pneumonia on Friday, but she was coughing very, very badly a week ago, and even before that, if you remember. This wasn't the first time. So, it's very interesting to see what is going on. I want her to get better,

More medical information from both candidates to be expected
While this may not be a best-case scenario for Hillary, it has brought the topic of health out in the open for both candidates. Donald Trump has agreed to release the results of a physical that he had last week. As well, Hillary's campaign has agreed to release more medical information on her. The candidates will now have to be more transparent with their health records in the future. Both of their campaigns have said more information will be publicly available in the days to come.
