Stephen Colbert announced last week that he would be doing his 'Late Show' from the Republican National Convention this week. However, none of his supporters could have imagined him pulling off what he did Monday.
Dressed as Hunger Games host Caesar Flickerman, Colbert snuck onto the stage while organizers were setting up and derided Trump's presidential campaign. Flickerman is known for announcing tributes for "fallen" characters during the Hunger Games.
Colbert started off his brief one minute stunt by mocking Trump's VP pick Mike Pence, saying:
"[Donald Trump] has formed an alliance with Indiana Governor Mike Pence. It is my honor to hereby launch and begin the 2016 Republican hungry for power games."
As a security guard pushed him off the stage, Colbert took one more shot at Trump, yelling:
“I know I’m not supposed to be up here, but let’s be honest, neither is Donald Trump.”
