Former Aide in Court Filing: Chris Christie 'flat out lied' about Bridgegate

Text messages released from a new court filing Tuesday indicated that Christ Christie lied about his staff not being involved in the Bridgegate scandal. The text, which was taken from the phone of his Deputy Chief of Staff and former campaign chief Bridget Anne Kelly reads:
"Are you listening? He just flat out lied about senior staff and (former deputy chief of staff Bill) Stepien not being involved...it could be bad" -Texts from Bridget Anne Kelly
So far Christie has been cleared of any direct involvement in the Bridgegate scandal, where traffic jams were deliberately created in retaliation for Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich not endorsing him. One of Christie's staffers has been indicted for his involvement in the incident, and Christie immediately cut ties with others, including Kelly. There have been two separate state investigations and an attorney general's investigation into the incident, which have so far yielded no results. Christie's spokesman Brian Murray responded to the incident by saying:
"The Governor’s statements have been clear. Nothing contained in this text message changes that in any way. He stands by those statements completely and unequivocally" -Brian Murray
