Colin Powell Disputes Clinton Email Version

According to an article in the New York Times, Hillary Clinton told the FBI that Gen. Colin Powell had advised her to use a private email account while serving as Secretary of State. Colin Powell has denied her version of the event.
"Her people have been trying to pin it on me. The truth is, she was using [the private email server] for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did. " — Colin Powell

Powell endorsed Obama in 2008 and 2012

The former Secretary of State, who endorsed Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, has not made a formal endorsement for 2016. He has been critical of Donald Trump’s policies, but it now appears unlikely that Powell, who is described as unhappy with Clinton’s efforts to make him the “fall guy,” for her using a private email server, would endorse Clinton.
The information regarding Clinton’s statement regarding Gen. Powell was in the notes that the FBI provided Congress last week regarding Hillary Clinton’s interview over her use of a private email account. The implication of Clinton’s remarks to the FBI is symbolic of Hillary’s unwillingness to accept responsibility for her actions which, by her own admission, was an error in judgment.
